Adult Choir

The choir at St. Francis of Assisi, is a volunteer ministry, of approximately 30 men and women who love to sing to The Lord!

Choir season goes approximately from the Sunday after Labor Day through Pentecost. While in season, we practice every Wednesday evening, from 7-8:15pm, and sing every Sunday at the 10am mass.

The choir uses SATB arrangements from the Choral Praise book (every member owns a book), plus additional seasonal selections. The choir also prepares several special performances throughout the year, like the Epiphany concert, Stations of the Cross, and a sung Divine Mercy Chaplet.

New members are welcome! It is a serious commitment, but also a joyful one! You’ll have fun, be part of a wonderful community of faithful parishioners, grow in your faith, and grow in your musical abilities!

Do not be intimidated if you do not fully read music or have no previous experience. Singing in a choir is a great learning experience, because the group literally carries you! Our choir director will work with you individually or in a small group, to help you catch up, and become comfortable with the group, the music, and the pace of rehearsals. If you sing at mass, join us!Current music members: if you are looking for the Music Member Site, click here.Do not be intimidated if you do not fully read music or have no previous experience.
