Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system.
Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministersto provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Communion to the Hospital and Home-bound

Knitting Ministry
Volunteer to make lap robes, prayer shawls and chemo caps for cancer patients, dialysis patients, the elderly and other who are sick. Contact Karen Behne 303-678-8510 kdbehne@gmail.com
O.U.R. Center Outreach
OUR Center Weekend Lunch Program
The OUR Center provides a hot meal for those in need every day of the week. On weekends, the meal is purchased, prepared and served by church groups, businesses, or families. St Francis is signed up for 5 days this coming year. We begin at 10 am and are usually finished by 2 pm. You must be sixteen to volunteer and we like to have 9 volunteers each time. H.O.P.E. Outreach
H.O.P.E (Homeless Outreach Providing Encouragement). is an outreach program for the homeless of Longmont, providing after-hours basic needs emergency support, transports to shelter, and referrals to appropriate social services.

Respect Life
This group promotes the respect of life from conception to natural death. They provide education on life issues such as abortion, euthanasia, and capital punishment. Support is provided for unplanned pregnancies. Contact Mary Carey 303-684-9304 mary@careyhome.org
Uganda Outreach
The Catholic Wambale Mission effort in Uganda, coordinated by Fr. Francis Mayinja, needs your support to bring basic necessities into the lives of the Ugandan people. Your generous donations provide education, clean water, basic sanitation and medical facilities to the villagers of Uganda.
