Dating Well
Created by Dr. Mario Sacasa, a licensed marriage counselor with 20 years of experience, Dating Well provides the same expert guidance he gives his one-on-one clients, but at a fraction of the cost. Dr. Sacasa has worked with us to provide Dating Well in a parish setting where we can build community and learn together.
The course is built upon the Catholic-Christian faith and solid relationship science, offering a solution to guide you toward happy and healthy relationships.
In Dating Well, you will learn how to:
• Let go of perfectionism that might be making you overlook good matches.
• Make better decisions and stop acting on impulses and fears.
• Ask meaningful questions while discerning a relationship.
• Grow in virtue that will benefit all aspects of your life.
• Identify markers of health to know if things are going well and what to do with inevitable challenges.
• Recognize red flags and know when and how to respectfully end a relationship.
• Gain the confidence that will set you up not just for dating success but for healthy self-esteem in other social settings.
-
Dating Well is for practicing Christians (Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant), and even welcomes non-Christians, as many of the principles are universal. The course is designed for both singles and dating couples, covering all levels of relationships with significant attention given to the serious dating phase.
