First Communion

 

For Children

Archbishop Aquila has instituted the “Restored Order of the Sacraments” – that is, Confirmation at an earlier age, to complete the Sacraments of Initiation. At St Francis of Assisi the children will receive all three sacraments, First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Communion in their third year of Level 2 (See Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for more information under “Get Involved-Children Formation” or email cgsjennifer@sfassisi.org).

 

For Youth

All Catholics in grades 6 -12 who need the Sacraments of Baptism, 1st Communion and/or Confirmation need to go through Sacramental Prep classes, a 2 year program.

Communion to the Homebound and Hospitals

Ministers bring Holy communion to the hospital or to the sick or elderly who are unable to attend Mass.
