We are thrilled to extend a warm parish welcome to our newest clergy member, Deacon Brandon Justice! Deacon Brandon brings a wealth of life experience, deep faith, and a heart for service to our community.
A Faith Built on Strong Roots
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Deacon Brandon’s entire education—from kindergarten through graduate school—was rooted in Catholic schools. His spiritual journey took a pivotal turn at the age of 17 when he first felt the calling to the priesthood or diaconate. That seed of faith continued to grow, eventually leading him to profess as a 3rd Order Franciscan 19 years ago and receive ordination to the diaconate 16 years ago. Over his years of ministry, Deacon Brandon has had many memorable experiences, including the distinct honor of assisting at two Papal Masses!
Family Life & Career
Deacon Brandon’s primary vocation is his family. He and his wife, Erin, have been happily married for 27 years and are the blessed parents of six children. Before making his way west, Deacon Brandon dedicated 20 years to a career in law enforcement as a police officer in Maryland. Today, he continues his work in safety and protection as a security contractor.
In 2016, the Justice family packed up and relocated to Colorado, settling in nearby Firestone, where they live today.
We are so blessed to have Deacon Brandon, Erin, and their family join our faith community. Please take a moment to introduce yourself and give them a warm welcome when you see them around the parish!

Spiritual Encouragement
Pray the Mass Like Never Before
by Father Mike Schmitz
You HAVE to see this. It is a bit long, but absolutely worth every minute!
“While many people go to Mass every week, few people know what it is to worship. We show up and do our best to “pay attention," but for too many of us, this just means we watch closely. You have been given a gift that you have most likely left unused. This gift is unused because it is largely unknown. This presentation will uncover this unknown and unused gift so that you can stop watching the Mass and start worshipping at Mass.
