St. Blaise Blessing of Throats
On Saturday, February 3rd we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Blaise. Father Jim and Deacon Owen will be doing the traditional blessing of throats at the morning -1st Saturday- Mass (8:30am) and at the evening vigil Mass (4:30pm).

End of Life Presentation

Vespers for the Dead
“The Office for the Dead is a prayer cycle of the Liturgy of the Hours in the Roman Catholic Church, said for the repose of the soul of a deceased individual or individuals. It is the proper reading on All Souls’ Day for all souls in Purgatory.” (From divineoffice.org)
On All Souls Day (November 2nd), we will be chanting the Liturgy of the Hours-Evening Prayer for the repose of the souls of all our deceased loved ones and the souls in Purgatory. Members of the St. Cecilia Schola (10am choir) will be leading us (in similar fashion as when we sing the Tenebrae on Holy Week). Everyone is welcome!
