Understanding and Helping our Vulnerable Neighbors
Join Us - October 25th
Understanding and Helping our Vulnerable Neighbors. Have you ever driven by the King Soopers or taken a walk on the Greenway and encountered people who were experiencing homelessness? Have you wondered what resources are in the community for our vulnerable neighbors, or wondered what you could do to help others when you encounter them? Or have you had other concerns connected to homelessness and wanted to find out what was being done to address this issue?
Homelessness is a challenge that impacts every community and Longmont is no exception. We are fortunate to have a caring community that works hard to address the different, complex needs of the most vulnerable among us. On October 25th, please join us for a joint presentation at St Francis of Assisi Parish that will review the efforts in place in our community. Information about the challenges as well as current efforts will be presented, as well as ways that each of us can become involved in helping others. Time for question and answers will follow.
Presenters will be the City of Longmont, the OUR Center, and Project HOPE. We hope to see many of you there and partnering together to be a light for our most vulnerable neighbors!
