About the Organist
Isaac Johnson is our regular organist for our Sunday, 8am Masses. He is a 3rd year Ph.D. student in Musicology at the University of Colorado-Boulder, where he specializes in the study of Gregorian Chant in North America. He holds degrees from the Yale Institute of Sacred Music and Samford University. He has served as music director, organist, tenor, composer, and choral director at parishes across the U.S. and has performed organ recitals at churches and cathedrals in both the U.S. and Canada. His wife Christen is an ICU nurse at Longs Peak Hospital, and they have two children, Linus (age 3) and Cecilia (age 1).
