The Knights of Columbus, Longmont Council #1313 and St. John the Baptist Council #14898, invite you to join us for 28thth annual “Longmont Life Chain”, one small link in a coordinated national chain of nearly 1900 peaceful, prayerful protests,

“Life Chain is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of pro-life Americans standing for one hour praying for our nation and for an end to abortion. It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception” – (Life Chain website; www.LifeChain.net)

Signs will be provided. We want to stress that this is a peaceful, prayerful protest; no laws will be broken. Our purpose is to promote public awareness of the tragedy of abortion. For the past twenty-seven years, the Longmont Life Chain has been blessed by growing numbers of participants, representing many denominations of the Christian community.
