Be part of a great multitude and help us fulfill our mission to bring Jesus to people in Longmont!
Join a great multitude of courageous Catholics from all area parishes to bring Jesus to the people of Longmont in the annual Longmont Lights Parade! This is a wonderful opportunity to remind our community that Advent is a time of anticipation for the light of Christ to come into the world.
The Vision:
Our entry will be a simple, but powerful testimony, depicting the journey of Joseph and Mary, pregnant with Jesus and riding a donkey, followed by us!
We are calling on you, our brothers and sisters in Christ, to form a massive, glorious walking procession! We will create a striking statement by walking together, carrying electric candles (provided), and singing hymns to glorify God during this season of anticipation.
What: The Longmont Lights Parade Entry
When: Saturday, December 13th at 5:00 PM
Where: The parade begins and ends at Roosevelt Park (700 Longs Peak Ave.) in Longmont. Please look for an email indicating the exact Parade Lineup Location for “God’s Kingdom” as we may start at one of the blocks surrounding the park.
The Vision: We walk with Mary and Joseph (pregnant with Jesus) and carry electric candles (provided).
Requirements: Must be 13+ and able to walk the 1.5-mile route.
