Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system. Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers -called Stephen Ministers- to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting. (Learn More)

Training

Are you being called to become a Stephen Minister? We are having our next 50 hr. Training beginning October 7, 2024.

We are seeking adults who are able to attend 50 hours of training and willing to make a 2 year serving commitment including attending on-going monthly meetings the 1st and 3rd Mondays, 6-8pm. To see if this training session will work for you, see the information below.

2024/25 Stephen Minister Training Session

When: 1st, 3rd, & 5th Mondays, October - early June, Holidays excluded

Location: St Francis of Assisi, 3791 Pike Rd, Longmont 80503

Fee: $75, scholarships available

After receiving the application, an applicant will be interview by a team of Stephen Ministers, to take place before October 7th.
