Who built our organ? (Part I)

Recently we announced to the parish that WE ARE GETTING AN ORGAN FOR OUR CHURCH!!!! In the next few weeks we will feature short articles to help us understand the breadth and depth of this great blessing!

Organ Talk: Week 9

Since so much of this project has been a matter of prayer, the answer to this question is longer than you might think.

First, the Team Spiritual:

The project could not have come to fruition without the gracious intercessions of: Blessed Mary, Ever Virgin Mother of God, Our Lady of Sorrows, Our Lady of Victory and Undoer of Knots; St. Joseph the Builder; St. Francis of Assisi; St. Cecilia; the Holy Apostles Peter, Paul, James, John and St. Jude; St. John Henry Cardinal Newman, Blessed Fulton Sheen, Blessed Don Álvaro del Portillo, Blessed Carlo Acutis; Sts. Dunstan, Ethelwald and Aldhelm; Sts. Gregory, Ambrose and Augustine; Sts. Ephrem the Syrian and Romanos the Melodist; King David the Psalmist; Asaph the Singer and his sons; Holy Prophets and music directors Ezra and Nehemiah; Joshua and the Priestly Trumpeters; Tabernacle craftsmen Bezalel and Oholiab; Patriarch Jubal, , inventor of musical instruments; and the Holy Guardian Angel assigned to this project. Stay tuned next week for the Team Temporal!

NEWS: We will hear the organ for the first time next weekend, June 19th-20th, at all Masses! (The organ will be blessed right before the 4:30pm Mass on Saturday).
